Introduction to Imaris Talk
July 30, 2014
One of the most popular resources in the NRI-MCDB Microscopy Facility is the Imaris Software Workstation. On its own Imaris is a powerful image analysis and visualization tool. Moreover, Imaris has a two-way interface that supports classic programing languages (i.e. Matlab, Java, Python) as well as ImageJ. Lynsey Hamilton from Bitplane Inc. will be on campus next Wednesday July 30th. She has offered to meet with a few users with more complicated analysis issues in the early afternoon. For new users and summer interns, she has kindly agreed to offer an overview of the software at 11:30am that day.
